Two open calculators: work out a squad cost ratio from wages, amortisation and revenue, or see how much room a club has left under a loss limit.

Both tools run in your browser and use only the numbers you type. They show how the rule is built — not what any real club actually spends.

Squad cost ratio

Wages, amortisation and agent fees, divided by football revenue. The lower the ratio, the more room a club has against the spending test.

Ratio—

Enter figures in the same unit (millions, for example). The ratio is a share of revenue, so the unit cancels out as long as it is consistent.

Room left under a loss limit

An assessment period allows a certain loss. Take what the club has already booked and the difference is the headroom before the rule bites.

Headroom—

Whether owner money can be counted depends on the rule and the period; the field above lets you test both cases.

Amortisation per season

A fee is spread across the contract, so the annual charge is the fee divided by the term.

Per season—

Signing-on fees and agent costs are usually added to the capitalised amount before it is spread.

Please read this first. This is general information about the structure of football finance rules. It is not investment or legal advice, it is not a valuation of any club, and it does not describe the position of any specific club. Rules change, differ between competitions and are applied case by case by the bodies that write them.
